The Danciger School is the main center of education in Kiryat Shmona, with approximately 1300 students between grades seven to twelve.
The Danciger School was found in the beginning of the 1960s, as the only public high school in the city of  Kiryat Shmona. Over time Danciger created a strong and positive reputation, predominantly because of the fine Danciger graduates who have found their way into key positions in Israeli society. The school's vision has always been to advance and strengthen students of the periphery of the country while providing them with tools for success, combining values, courtesy and respect.
Danciger, as an "educational home" is characterized by its warmness and familial atmosphere, and it is therefore not surprising that the majority of the teachers are the school's graduates. The Danciger School's secret of success lies in its caring for each and every student, which stems from our belief that the success of our students is important to both the student and the school.
